“SAGITTA depart le regate”. This International 8 metre boat SAGGITA (they are known as “Eights”) was designed and built by Charles Nicholson in 1929. Over 500 Eights were built and many are still sailing and racing today. Guy L’Hostis (French) was born in 1945.
