HMS PHOEBE

HMS PHOEBE of the Dido Class was an elegant well armed anti-aircraft cruiser who saw a busy war in the Mediterranean.  10 x 5.25ins guns made her well suited to this task together with a lively turn of speed of 30+ knots.  Oscar Parkes was the Editor of Jane’s Fighting Ships and many other naval books of reference as well as being a very well respected martime artist.
